Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Princeton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Mr. Tire in Princeton, NJ has serviced my CR-V for the past 11 years and I remain impressed with the work and customer care. I was immediately sold with their honesty and high-quality work and decided to make them my go-to service center. Their customer care is top shelf and I highly recommend them.

As always, the staff at Mr. Tire knew what tires would best meet my needs and they gave me the best price for them. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and, having known them for years I trust their judgment. Itβs easy to underestimate the importance of tires and the importance they bring to drivers, but I know they have saved me during several weather emergencies!

All excellent. I had not been in for service in a while and was thrilled to see the same polite, well informed, efficient staff that has been there for years. Every step of the process (scheduling, a call with the estimate, and then timely completion of the work) was well executed. Always a pleasure to get such good customer service, and automotive service, and at a competitive price.

Good shop but highly expensive. They just charged me $774 for a remanufactured starter that can run in the high end 350. They also charged me $122 for a $35 serpentine belt. While the service was good and the car is in good shape the shop is way over inflating part prices. Last time I will be using them. Shop around if you can before slowing them to work. I feel bad going to them. Feel like I was taken advantage of

DO NOT get your alignment done at this place. I had an alignment done here 11 months ago on brand new tires that were only one week old. Now, my front tires have severe uneven wear, which is clear that the alignment was either not done properly or was not done at all! When I went to the store, their response was that the alignment only has a 3 month warranty. They also argued that I could have hit a pothole or done something after the service that caused the issue and they werent there to see my driving so there is no proof that I didnβt. Well I was not there to see that the alignment was actually done, so there is no proof is there? I trusted that I was paying for a service that was done correctly. I should not have to replace brand new tires every year because of an alignment issue! That is completely unreasonable! Brand new tires, with a proper alignment should have even wear and last for years and not be destroyed in less than a year! And for the record, being a woman does not mean I donβt understand cars at all. I know how this works, I know how to drive, I take care of my car well and I come from a family where both my dad and brother are mechanics. Im very disappointed and I
